To promote London Drugs’ 68 Second Shopping Spree contest, I directed this video to explain the contest through the winner’s perspective. To create hype for the contest we created a fast-paced video featuring a winner sprinting between departments, grabbing a variety of items that add up to $500. Not only did this show the breadth of London Drugs’ products, but it got viewers to strategize their own shopping spree plan of attack, enticing them to enter the contest.
The 30-second video was embedded in 300 x 600 and 300 x 250 rich media banners and as pre-roll on video sites.
The web banners’ views were a success – with approximately 2,550 hours watched in the first week the banners went live, and over 900 Likes on the London Drugs Facebook page.
